Not only is my hair very thin and fine, I don’t have a lot of it.  So, it always looks like it is just hanging there all stringy and boring looking.  No matter what I do with it.  When I was younger I would have perms done and soon after my hair would be back to being straight and stringy looking again.  It just won’t hold curl.

I am always jealous of people with nice thick hair.  But you know what?  They don’t like their hair either.  In fact, I don’t think I have ever met a woman who liked her hair.

Lately I’ve really been struggling with feeling extremely anxious and depressed.  Planning this trip was sort of helping me to keep those feelings in check.  It kept me distracted and gave me something to look forward to.  And it’s hard to describe- I know my life is good.  Everyone is healthy and we have enough money to pay our bills.  But I worry constantly and feel so anxious all of the time.  So this trip was something I really feel like I needed- something to keep my mind busy and to keep me from falling further into this awful pit of anxiety and depression.

Now it’s not happening and I feel terrible.

Since George left his job earlier this year he has made a lot less money.  He works very hard on trying to get his business going.  But of course it is a slow process and takes time to build up clients.  And now with the crazy financial situation our country is in, many people are not spending extra money on the type of work that George does.

Anyways- the judge basically made his decision based on what he thinks George could be making.  Not on what he is actually making.  So taking into account that George made probably 3 times as much money last year as he will this year, he made his decision based on that.  He still didn’t award the full 17% but he awarded more than we can afford to pay.  I’m not sure where George is supposed to come up with the money.

So I hope this makes Crazy happy.  We were already struggling to pay all of our bills and now we have to add another bill on top of all of that.

Neither do I.

I have everything I need.  I have most of the things I want.  I can’t even remember what I got last year for Christmas… well besides the laptop I’m typing on, I do remember that.  But, for the most part Christmas comes and goes with way too many gifts and no one remembers what they got the year before.

You know what I would remember?  For forever and ever?  A trip to a Costa Rica resort.  Oh yes indeed.  I would never forget that.  I would love it if George and I decided not to buy anything for each other but instead took a nice romantic getaway to Coast Rica.  What an amazing gift that would be. If anyone wants to donate towards our trip I’d be happy to give you my PayPal address

I hate Walmart.  But over a year ago someone gave Peanut a gift certificate for Walmart and I figured it was time to use it.  So, we went there to get her some boots for winter.  There were two different kinds to pick from each priced at $30 and I didn’t like either one.  There was another lady there shopping with her daughter for the same thing.  She said “I just came from Target and they had a really big selection of boots for cheaper.”  She went on to explain they didn’t have any in her daughters size but that there were a lot in the smaller sizes.

So, we left Walmart without any boots. I did buy a few things just to use the gift card up.

We went to Target where the aisles were clean and the customers and employees were nice.  (Not the conditions at Walmart, that’s for sure.)  I bought a pair of really cute boots for $20 and found the other items I had bought at Walmart were cheaper at Target.

Please don’t give me any more Walmart gift cards!

Crazy called and asked if instead of bringing her home if George could just bring her to school.  Not a problem.

So, George told Miss B and it was fine with her.  BUT, she wanted him to take her to her uncle’s house to get some clothes for school.  George told her she could just wear something she had with us.  But, then George started to wonder- why does she need to go to her uncle’s house to pick up her clothes.  And then the story came out.  Apparently her clothes are at her uncle’s house because that’s where she lives.

Nothing like having NO idea that your daughter has been living somewhere else for several weeks to make you just a little bit mad.

So, Miss B said the reason is that she can not get along with her mother anymore.  Totally understandable.  Miss B also has a younger step sister who has also moved out to go live with another family member because she can’t get along either.  And I don’t really know Crazy all that well, but I can tell that she can be pretty evil.

Of course, Crazy’s story was pretty different.  And I’m sure there is truth being told by both Miss B and Crazy.

Now 5 years later I don’t worry about it much.  We live in the area were our family is.  Plus my car has been very good for us.  We took of it, and it took care of us.  I just hope that it lasts a few more years, that would be great.  With the economy as bad as it is, we all need to take care of our stuff.

We don’t see Miss B as often as we used to, and if you read my blog then you know things have not been very great lately with her.  But, I do not believe in giving Christmas presents based on behavior, so I am still planning to spoil Miss B just like I always do.
