So this afternoon we plan to go house hunting.  My mom is going to hurry home from work to watch Peanut for us so we can look without dragging a 2 year old around.  I hope we can find something either today or tomorrow to get the ball rolling.  I hate asking my mom to watch Peanut all of the time.  Last night when we were talking about my dad asked her if she could take an afternoon off to watch Peanut for us.  And she acted upset about it.  I was not asking her to take any time off.  Just asking her if she could watch her after work.  I know she’s exhausted at the end of the day but it would be sooooo hard to take Peanut with us.  Hopefully it will only be for a few days and we’ll find something.  I don’t have anyone else to ask.  George’s parents would say no- and use their health as an excuse.  And I don’t know anyone else to ask.  So if my mom can’t do it we’ll just have to take Peanut with us.  I’ve just been dreaming of this for the last year and I feel a little disappointed that it seems like my mom doesn’t really want to watch her.  I don’t know.

We are planning to do a little house hunting tomorrow.  So I’ve spent most of today looking through listings and then emailing what we would like to see to our real estate agent.  As I look through the listings one of the things I’ve been looking at is the lighting in the houses.

Most of the homes I have seen need some new lighting.  I’ve seen some forecast lighting that I really like that I know would look good in any home that we might end up choosing.  Another choice that I really liked was the Sea Gull lighting- it’s just gorgeous.  A great place to find a wide variety of lighting seems to be Farrey’s.  Once we get into our new house I will definitely do some shopping there.

So we’re moving.  If you’ve been here reading lately you know that.  The problem is finding the right house for us.  I think what we would love to end up doing is renting a home for a short time.  During that time we could have our dream house built.  We could have it be exactly what we want.  Instead of trying to find the perfect house- we’ll just build the perfect house.  Schumacher Homes seems to be a great place to use to have a home built.  I was checking out some Schumacher Homes Press releases and there is a lot of great stuff to be said about this company- certainly a company to consider using for building a home.

So as you know we are moving to a new home.  I am sooooo excited I can hardly stand it!  Once we find the perfect home it will be time to start thinking about some decorating plans.  One thing I love to do is to decorate the outside of my home too.  I want to have a beautiful back yard with some wonderful gardens.  In fact if my backyard could look just like this picture I would be so pleased.

Isn’t that beautiful?  There is lots of antique garden decor to look at on the Aileen Minor site.  So many beautiful choices that I just don’t know where to start ordering!  I want it all.
