We moved into our house about 5 and a half years ago. One of the first things I said that I wanted to do was to buy a new mailbox. It would be simple and relatively cheap to do and would really spruce up the look of our home. Guess what we still have for a mailbox? The same one we had 5 and a half years ago. Now we’re getting ready to move so we won’t be replacing it. But for our new home I would absolutely love to have a mail box that looks like this:

So I have been looking online at some mailboxes and I found some great choices at Mailboxixchange. The one that I love is for sale at Mailboxixchange and I think the price is quite reasonable. I think a cute mailbox like this one would really change the look of the a house.
While we have been house hunting over the last week we have come across some pretty interesting houses. And I don’t mean in a good way, either. Apparently there are all sorts of crazy people who think their house is worth a whole lot more than it really is.
One house in particular, I was really looking forward to looking at- it looked so nice in the pictures. When we got there, and opened the door it smelled soooo musty that it gave me a headache. George walked around the back of the house and it was covered in mold. Nice. Then as he walked back towards the front of the house a huge swarm of flies came up from the ground. I think they need to come up with some fly solutions for this house. I’m not sure if a fly light would help or not- something weird is going on. So once they take care of the mold problem, the smell and then contact someone like ePest Solutions they might be able to sell the house. Otherwise, no one is going to buy it.
I am soooo frustrated with this whole move right now. We have been searching the Internet and have gone out to look at houses. We just can not find what we want. It seems like people are way overpricing their homes. Nothing we have seen even has the potential to be the home for us.
I really wish we could build our own home. If there was a Schumacher Homes in our area I would be looking them up. We would be able to stay with my parents for a short time while waiting for our home to be built. That way we would have the exact home we want.
Since we are in the process of moving we will have all sorts of decisions to make. Huge decisions like which house to buy in which town and which school district. And smaller things- like what we want to use for our cable. Which is still pretty important in the day to day life.
We’re not sure if we want to go with Direct TV or not. We have never used DirectTV so I don’t really have a firm opinion about it. I know we are not happy with the few channels we get now, so we will want to make some changes. There are a lot of DirectTV Options- it just depends on what is important to you.
What is your opinion? Do you like DirectTV? What do you use for your television entertainment?
