George finally heard back from court about the support for Crazy.

Since George left his job earlier this year he has made a lot less money. He works very hard on trying to get his business going. But of course it is a slow process and takes time to build up clients. And now with the crazy financial situation our country is in, many people are not spending extra money on the type of work that George does.

Anyways- the judge basically made his decision based on what he thinks George could be making. Not on what he is actually making. So taking into account that George made probably 3 times as much money last year as he will this year, he made his decision based on that. He still didn’t award the full 17% but he awarded more than we can afford to pay. I’m not sure where George is supposed to come up with the money.

So I hope this makes Crazy happy. We were already struggling to pay all of our bills and now we have to add another bill on top of all of that.

So while we had Miss B with us last weekend I had a blast with her. She acted like her old self and I was happy being around her.

Crazy called and asked if instead of bringing her home if George could just bring her to school. Not a problem.

So, George told Miss B and it was fine with her. BUT, she wanted him to take her to her uncle’s house to get some clothes for school. George told her she could just wear something she had with us. But, then George started to wonder- why does she need to go to her uncle’s house to pick up her clothes. And then the story came out. Apparently her clothes are at her uncle’s house because that’s where she lives.

Nothing like having NO idea that your daughter has been living somewhere else for several weeks to make you just a little bit mad.

So, Miss B said the reason is that she can not get along with her mother anymore. Totally understandable. Miss B also has a younger step sister who has also moved out to go live with another family member because she can’t get along either. And I don’t really know Crazy all that well, but I can tell that she can be pretty evil.

Of course, Crazy’s story was pretty different. And I’m sure there is truth being told by both Miss B and Crazy.

So the other day George got a notice that his new support that he has to pay is behind. It’s not behind because he didn’t pay- it’s behind because it took the judge like 3 months to make a decision and he back dated it to the original date. So, since Crazy is such a thoughtful person- she said she would take care of it so that he doesn’t have to pay that back payments. And while I do really appreciate that- I wonder if she realizes that she is the reason he is paying more than he can afford to pay. We have to take the money out of our savings account to pay the weekly payments. So, when that money runs out then George will not have the money to pay.

Crazy wants to make herself out to be the good guy, like she is doing George some huge favor. The favor would have been for her to not be an idiot in the first place and ruin the good relationships we had between us. I just can’t stand her right now.

Is GMAC worth saving? The answer to that is easy, no, it’s not worth it. GMAC has made so many bad loans it’s not even funny anymore. This company ran it’s self into the ground. But the U.S. Treasury Department doesn’t care about that. That’s because they’ve given them billions of dollars in loans, which will turn into over 35 percent in equity stake. That‘s right, the U.S. Government will become part owner of GMAC, as well as GM down the road.

What really needs to happen is let these companies fall into bankruptcy. After all, the end result will be GM falling into bankruptcy. There’s no way their going to get bond holders to go along with Obama’s scam. The last time I checked the U.S. Government was going to take like 70 percent of GM, the auto works are going to take 15 percent and leaving only 10 percent for bond holders. By the way, the bond holders are owed the most amount of money, so why would they end up getting scammed? Anyway, bond holders aren’t going to take that deal, so the U.S Government needs to stop feeding GMAC money as well as GM.

Yup- I’m annoyed again. As usual. Crazy emailed me and told me the reason she didn’t tell George what was going on with Miss B was basically because he has never been an authority figure in her life and she wouldn’t listen to him if did try to punish her.

Really? i wonder why? Maybe because Miss B lives with Crazy and she doesn’t enforce punishment that George gives. I wonder if that could have anything to do with it. She’s failing in school, sneaks out of Crazy’s house, smokes and drinks, so I’m not so sure she listens to Crazy either.

But even when Miss B was younger if she did something wrong at Crazy’s house we would continue the punishment at our house. If she was grounded from TV there she didn’t get to watch when she was with us either. Crazy, on the other hand never enforced anything that George would try to do. So, once again- another example of why Miss B acts the way she does.

Nice job Crazy. Hope you’re proud of your “good girl.”

So the other day I told you about how Miss B told us that she is no longer living with Crazy.

Of course Crazy has a different story than Miss B does. According to Crazy, Miss B is still living with her but is spending several nights each week at her Uncle’s house. There are all sorts of problems with Miss B. She is failing at school. She is sneaking out at night. Crazy doesn’t have any control over her and doesn’t know what to do with her. Miss B is smoking now too. Part of the reason Miss B is spending so much time at her uncle’s house is because Crazy wants her away from a bad news boyfriend too.

I am sure there are true aspects coming from both Miss B and from Crazy. Whatever the entire truth is, Miss B needs to be living with us. We need to move back to our home town so she can come live with us without completely uprooting her life. Or maybe uprooting her life would be a good thing. Something needs to change.

George and Crazy went to court.

I had prepared all of George’s documents. Proof that Crazy agreed to the amount that George gave her. She agreed that the money would cover an entire year. She still denies it, even with written proof, and says she never agreed that amount would cover the whole year. There was proof that George had given her additional money as well, when he could. All of the income paperwork. All sorts of forms that had to be filled out. I think this was the main reason I didn’t want this whole thing to go to court- because I knew all of the paperwork would fall on to me. I doubt that George even ever considered doing the paperwork, he just assumed I would take care of all of it. Which annoys me to no end.

Anyways, the judge basically said that because George and Crazy had made their own arrangements outside of the court and decided to take care of things their own way, not using the court system, that he could not take into account any of the money that George had already given her. Which basically means that the amount of money George gave Crazy that was supposed to cover 12 months, is now only covering 4 months. And the judge will come up with a decision about how much George will have to pay from now on. In the end, the judge did say he was going to keep in mind the money George had given even though he doesn’t legally have to.

We won’t know the decision for a few weeks. But, in the end- I think it will be best this way. Crazy won’t be able to use her usual threat of court anymore, so George won’t have to deal with that anymore. The problem is that Crazy has really pushed a huge divide between us. We had really worked out a lot of differences and everyone was getting along relatively well. And she ruined it.

Crazy and I have talked a few times about this whole court issue. When we first started emailing back and forth she said she didn’t want the full 17% from George for child support, she just wanted something fair. Her and I decided that we would try to come to an agreement about the amount of money to be paid and then just let the judge know once in court. So, I went through and figured out all of George’s income for the last several months since he started his own business. I gave Crazy those numbers. Well, guess what? Now she wants the full 17%. I think the reason she wants the full amount is that George is making less money than she thought he was. I guess she thinks it only takes a couple of months to get a business going and doesn’t realize how hard it is at the start. So, she thought she was going to be able to get more money than she can even if she does get 17%. Apparently the fact that George isn’t making a whole lot of money and is supporting a wife and toddler doesn’t mean a whole lot to Crazy. The thing is that Crazy and I have usually been able to get along in the past and work things like this out. I guess not this time. I’m done trying to work it out with her and have decided that we’ll just leave it alone. The judge can decide.

George called Crazy back and said that Miss B is welcome to come spend the weekend with us. And while she is here we will take her shopping for some school clothes.

Crazy’s response? “Well, then we’ll just have to go to court.”

A little background information- a few years ago George and Crazy went to court to have child support stopped. Well, not actually stopped, just no longer run through the court system. Crazy and George came up with their own agreed upon amount for child support. Each year George gives Crazy X amount of dollars in one check. Which she then blows in about a month. Actually, I don’t know that- it’s just an assumption on my part.

Anyways, things were going fine. Then this year George decided to start his own business and talked to Crazy before leaving his secure job to try out this new venture. He told her he didn’t know how things were going to go and wanted to know if she would be agreeable about taking less money for her yearly payment. She agreed to half of the previous agreed upon amount. It was also stated that if things were going well with George’s new business that he would be happy to help out as much as he could.

How has the new business been going? Okay- but certainly not great. We don’t have an extra $300 right now to give her for school clothes. Even if we had it, $300 is way too much.

Honestly- in the past when I was working I used to spend a lot of money on Miss B for her back to school clothes. I’m sure I spent more than $300 some years. But, after I became a stay at home mom we didn’t have that extra money to spend on school clothes. And since Miss B has not grown in the last year- she’s 16, and all of her clothes from last year still fit her, I don’t see any reason to spend $300 on back to school clothes.

I called Crazy to try to talk to her about keeping things out of the court system. Sometimes her and I can talk and sort things out. I emailed her as well. But she isn’t answering me.

So the other day Crazy called and told George that she wanted $300 to take Miss B shopping for school clothes.

Really? $300 for school clothes.

I have two problems with that- first of all- we have always taken Miss B shopping for school clothes and bought her plenty of stuff. This year, Crazy is demanding that George give her the money because they are taking it on a weekend trip to do school shopping. Miss B hasn’t been to our house since Mother’s Day weekend- in May. So we were hoping that she would be spending a weekend with us to do some school clothes shopping.

My second problem- If we are only paying for half of her new clothes, that means that Crazy plans to spend $600 on back to school clothes. That’s a little too much in my opinion. And really, I think that Crazy’s actual plan is for us to pay for all of the back to school clothes.
