I was just reading that consumer confidence is somewhat on the rise again, but not by much. The thing is that we’re no where’s near to what it was before the economy crashed in 2008. According to Reuters/University of Michigan Surveys of Consumers they said the confidence index for June rose to 69.0 from May’s 68.7. But the economists where hoping to see around 69.5. So hopefully with the summer months coming things will improve a little more. Maybe with people taking their vacations or weekend trips will help things along. Most people don‘t realize that the economy is still just hanging on by a thread, and could change for the worst in a second. With the chance of inflation growing our recovery could be even longer. The government needs to stop spending and start saving themselves. And only when that happens will start getting things under control again.
