Getting Ranked

What do you think most bloggers think about? Well, if you’re a blogger you already know this answer. If you’re not a blogger you may have no idea what the answer is, but I‘m sure if you took a guess at it you‘ll get it, that I‘m sure of. So for the ones who don’t know, or don’t feel like taking a guess, it’s traffic, visitors and money, but mostly visitors. That’s why so many bloggers think about being ranked amongst other bloggers. Bloggers that blog day in and day out are always trying to get ranked. They basically get out and network with other bloggers. You can‘t just put up a blog and hope people are going to visit. And we “bloggers” also think about how much money we can make with our blogs, anyway that’s what I do. If you don’t spend anytime networking on the net you won’t make any money. And for the most part your not going to get rich from your blog. You might be able to make some money to buy the extra things you want, which is great. So if your looking to make a little extra cash from your blog check out programs that offer open revenue sharing, which a lot of bloggers use.

Open revenue sharing works great for a lot of people. And getting ranked within the area you live can work wonders for your blog as well. There’s a site called Grokodile, which offers open revenue sharing and getting ranked. If you’re a blogger you may or may not know about them already. If you’re never used them and you want to get ranked just visit their site and click on add/manage link. Fill out the information they request and get ranked within the community you live in. Their service seems pretty straight forward and worth it. Anyway, blog for fun, and blog to meet new people.

Is GMAC Worth It

Is GMAC worth saving? The answer to that is easy, no, it’s not worth it. GMAC has made so many bad loans it’s not even funny anymore. This company ran it’s self into the ground. But the U.S. Treasury Department doesn’t care about that. That’s because they’ve given them billions of dollars in loans, which will turn into over 35 percent in equity stake. That‘s right, the U.S. Government will become part owner of GMAC, as well as GM down the road.

What really needs to happen is let these companies fall into bankruptcy. After all, the end result will be GM falling into bankruptcy. There’s no way their going to get bond holders to go along with Obama’s scam. The last time I checked the U.S. Government was going to take like 70 percent of GM, the auto works are going to take 15 percent and leaving only 10 percent for bond holders. By the way, the bond holders are owed the most amount of money, so why would they end up getting scammed? Anyway, bond holders aren’t going to take that deal, so the U.S Government needs to stop feeding GMAC money as well as GM.

Why I Started This Blog

I have a regular blog.  One where I post pictures of Peanut and tell what we have been doing.  I pretend that everything is happy and wonderful and peaceful and perfect.  No one knows how much I suffer in silence from problems with anxiety.  I worry so much I make myself sick.  I worry over every single little thing until I am wringing my hands and pacing.  I must keep myself very busy to keep my mind from finding new things to worry about.

So I decided to start a new blog.  One where I could be anonymous.  I didn’t tell my family and real life friends about it.  The only people who read my blog (I THINK!) are people who have never met me in real life.  But it feels good.  I write about all of the stuff I worry and stress over.  Things that I don’t want people I know in real life to know about.  And every single time I post about my latest anxiety or panic attack- I feel better instantly.  And then when I get comments or emails about people who have gone through or are going through what I am, I know that is why I do this.

Today I found about about MyTherapyJournal.com where you can keep an online journal that is private so that you can feel safe and protected.  There are a lot of journaling benefits which you can read about on their site.  There are health care providers who use their services in addition to the military and soldiers returning from the war who have PTSD.  There are thousands of members who have joined America’s #1 source of online journaling.  Journaling can be a very healing process and I hope you’ll give it a try.

Why Am I This Way?

Back when I was about 10 years old I went away to summer camp and had a blast.  I made several friends while I was at camp and wrote to a few of them over the years.  One girl in particular I wrote to well into high school and even some in college.  I guess we eventually drifted apart and stopped writing to each other.  I often wonder where she is and what she is doing.

I moved about 5 years ago to the area we are living in now.  I live about a half hour from where my pen-pal grew up.  There has been a couple of times at church when I thought I saw someone who looked like her and I wondered if it could be her.

Yesterday at church when I was dropping Peanut off in the nursery there was a new mom checking the kids in.  It was the lady that I think looks like my old pen-pal.  So, I thought to myself, “Well, if her name is Becky then it must be her.”  And I saw her name tag and it said Becky.  Did I say anything to her to find out if she could be my old pen-pal?

Nope.

Why not?  I guess you could say I’m shy- although that’s not really the truth.  I am shy in a way, it’s hard for me to talk to people I don’t know.  But the reason I don’t like to talk to people I don’t know is because I know in a situation like that- if I had asked her if she could have been my old penpal- my face would have turned all red.  Why?  I don’t know.  There isn’t anything embarassing about it, there is no reason for my face to get all red.  But that’s why I didn’t say anything to her- I knew my face would end up turning all red.  And I hate it.
