Do You Have The Best Deal?

I remember when I first started driving.  Where I live you have to be 16 to get your permit.  So, on my 16th birthday my mom picked me up from school and took me to take my permit test.  I passed the test and drove home.  At the time the only thing I could think about was driving.  But for my parents I know there were a lot of other things they were thinking about.  My safety of course (which I can only understand now, as a parent, how scary that must have been), the extra cost for gas and car insurance and so on and so forth.

At the time the Internet was just getting started and you couldn’t just find a site with lots of insurance rates.  So my parents just added me to their plan.  When I moved out on my own I kept that plan.  I added renters insurance and later home owners insurance and just always kept the same company without giving it a thought.

But did you know you that Autonet Van Insurance might be able to save you some money?  They check 40 of the UK’s leading insurers every single day to make sure they are finding the best rates.  Plus, according to their site, if you find a cheaper rate- they will refund your money.  Sounds like it’s worth giving them a try!

Our Next Trip

Six years ago this month we were planning an exciting trip to Las Vegas.  My dad had always wanted to take a trip out to the western part of the country and Las Vegas was on the itinerary.  My parents, my two brothers, George, Miss B and I planned and looked forward to our trip.

When it was finally time to go we flew out to Arizona and started our vacation with a couple of days at the Grand Canyon.  That was an amazing experience.  Of course I had seen pictures before but to actually see the Grand Canyon in person just left me speechless.  After a couple of days there we headed to Las Vegas where we spent a week.

There is so much to do in Las Vegas that a week could not even begin to be enough time to get in everything we wanted to do.  My dad had done a lot of research before we went and found a lot of free activities for us to do.  There were quite a few shows- all family friendly that were free and amazingly good.  We also went to see a magician/comedian while we were there- for a reasonable price- and he was great.

The next time we go I really want to see Mystère by Cirque du Soleil.  I have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, mainly because they are expensive to see, but I have always wanted to.  I want to wait until Peanut is old enough to remember going before we go back.  And the next time we head out there I plan to check out the Las Vegas Show Tickets to buy some tickets for Cirque du Soleil.  I know it will be expensive to go, but it will also be amazing- definitely something all of us will always remember.

Covering Up

When I was breastfeeding Peanut I did not feel comfortable to breastfeed her in public.  But that is just me.  I know many people who are comfortable to breastfeed in public and that is okay with me.  I believe mothers should be able to breastfeed their babies.  But I also think that covering up is a common courtesy.  So, using Nursing Covers like Udder Covers™ is the perfect cover up.  These are made similar to Hooter Hiders™ and  Bebe au Lait™.   And right now you can get a free Udder cover at www.uddercovers.com by using the promo code: onefree.  Check it out!

Spring Projects

Now that spring is officially here (or so I’ve heard) it’s time to get started on some spring projects.  The weather here is just starting to get nice- and the ground is still soggy from all of the melting snow.  So we will probably wait a little while before we do any outdoor projects.

Today I was reading about Fence Spray- a great idea for a spring time project.  You can use this product, from Ronseal to give your fence or shed some great color as well as protection.  The sprayer will help you to get an even coating that will last.  Be sure to look into Ronseal for your spring projects.
