Going Stainless

As we search for our new home I have really been paying attention to more details than I did the last time we moved.  I think after having lived in our house for almost 6 years I know what I love and what I do not love.  As we have looked there have been some kitchens that I loved so much I wanted the rest of the house no matter what.

One house had a beautifully redone kitchen with stainless steel appliances.  How fabulous would some stainless steel cooking-ware look in a kitchen like that?  Or what if the dining room had a fireplace with blomus stainless steel fireplace accessories?  Another thing that would really improve the curb appleal of your house would be a fantastic looking blomus stainless steel mailbox

We’re getting ready to head out of town again to do more searching- and I’m going to be looking at all of the details!

Let’s Talk About Sex

Remember the song “Let’s Talk About Sex Baby, let’s talk about you and me…”

That was a popular song when I was a teenager.  You know what wasn’t popular- talking about sex with my parents.  I remember when I was in elementary school that I had a sex education class.  Before the class my parents gave me a book to read and told me to ask them if I had any questions.  I don’t think I asked them any questions- although I continued to believe that babies came from God and did not believe that my parents ever actually had sex.

As a teenager I still wasn’t comfortable talking to my parents about sex.  I remember hearing a myth that you couldn’t get pregnant if you had sex while in the water.  Not sure where that came from but it’s certainly not true.  If the Internet had been around like it is now I probably would have a site like healthguru.com to get answers to my questions since I was way too shy and embarrassed to ask my parents.

I hope that Peanut will feel comfortable enough to ask George and me any questions she might have as she gets older.  I think that is the best source of information.

Dress Up Your House

We moved into our house about 5 and a half years ago.  One of the first things I said that I wanted to do was to buy a new mailbox.  It would be simple and relatively cheap to do and would really spruce up the look of our home.  Guess what we still have for a mailbox?  The same one we had 5 and a half years ago.  Now we’re getting ready to move so we won’t be replacing it.  But for our new home I would absolutely love to have a mail box that looks like this:

So I have been looking online at some mailboxes and I found some great choices at Mailboxixchange.  The one that I love is for sale at Mailboxixchange and I think the price is quite reasonable.  I think a cute mailbox like this one would really change the look of the a house.

The Perfect Smile

Don’t tell George I’m telling you this, because he’d be mad if he knew!  But his teeth need some work done.  It’s not that he doesn’t realize they need some work done, it’s that we don’t have any dental insurance to pay for getting the work done.

Once we get dental insurance I think it would be a good idea for George to have veneers put on.  Lumineer dental veneers can fix your teeth without pain usually associated with this kind of dental work.  I have also always had spots on my teeth- stains from having a fever when I was born and I think that cosmetic dentistry is the only fix for me too.  I hope one day we’ll both have nice, straight, white and perfect smiles!
