Yup- I’m annoyed again.  As usual.  Crazy emailed me and told me the reason she didn’t tell George what was going on with Miss B was basically because he has never been an authority figure in her life and she wouldn’t listen to him if did try to punish her.

Really?  i wonder why?  Maybe because Miss B lives with Crazy and she doesn’t enforce punishment that George gives.  I wonder if that could have anything to do with it.  She’s failing in school, sneaks out of Crazy’s house, smokes and drinks, so I’m not so sure she listens to Crazy either.

But even when Miss B was younger if she did something wrong at Crazy’s house we would continue the punishment at our house.  If she was grounded from TV there she didn’t get to watch when she was with us either.  Crazy, on the other hand never enforced anything that George would try to do.  So, once again- another example of why Miss B acts the way she does.

Nice job Crazy.  Hope you’re proud of your “good girl.”

When you think of home where do you think of?  Do you think of the place you are living now?  Or do you think of the place you grew up?  For me when I think of home I think of the place I grew up.  It is always a warm, cozy and happy feeling.  I can’t really put my finger on what it is that makes it feel that way.  I guess it’s just the memories of fun and laughter with my family.

I want the same thing for Peanut.  I want to have a home that she will look back on with warm and happy thoughts and feelings.  I don’t like the house we are living in now and am hoping to move soon.  Actually our house is not the problem- the problem is I feel like we are too far from our families.  So I was checking out some house plans today as I was dreaming of moving.  I have always wanted to live in a log home and I found Design 025L-0043 at The House Plan Shop that I absolutely love and would be thrilled to call home.

So the other day I told you about how Miss B told us that she is no longer living with Crazy.

Of course Crazy has a different story than Miss B does.  According to Crazy, Miss B is still living with her but is spending several nights each week at her Uncle’s house.  There are all sorts of problems with Miss B.  She is failing at school.  She is sneaking out at night.  Crazy doesn’t have any control over her and doesn’t know what to do with her.  Miss B is smoking now too.  Part of the reason Miss B is spending so much time at her uncle’s house is because Crazy wants her away from a bad news boyfriend too.

I am sure there are true aspects coming from both Miss B and from Crazy.  Whatever the entire truth is, Miss B needs to be living with us.  We need to move back to our home town so she can come live with us without completely uprooting her life.  Or maybe uprooting her life would be a good thing.  Something needs to change.

There are all sorts of things that annoy me.  I’m pretty easily annoyed.  I think it has something to do with all of the anxiety I feel all of the time.  When you feel on edge all of the time it’s easy to get annoyed.  Anyways here are some of the things that annoy me:

• Stores at this time of year can be pretty annoying when people are pushy.  This has always annoyed me but now that I have a child in my cart you had better be careful because if it looks like you’re going to bump her I will knock you down with my cart.
• Traffic at this time of year.  People who don’t pay attention and have no idea where their lane is supposed to turn.  Or they just cut in front of me.  Or they won’t let me in front of them even though I have my blinker on and am waiting very nicely to be let in.
• My dog who insists on following Peanut around even though Peanut is rough with her.  Why won’t the dog just go lay down in the other room?  Why does she have to lay right next to her and then groan when Peanut picks at her.
• My hosting service used to annoy me.  It would go in and out all of the time.  It drove me crazy and even one time went out for an entire weekend.  That was when I finally changed my service.  Why didn’t I check web hosting choice before making my choice?  It would have saved me a lot of headaches.
